The Great Grape Race
The Great Grape Race takes place in Winesburg, Ohio, as part of the 28th Winesburg Reunion weekend. The event follows a scenic route through local farmland, starting and ending at Winesburg Park. Participants can take part in the following distance:

The course is open to various types of participants, including runners and joggers. Packet pickup is available on-site on the morning of the event. At the finish line, organizers provide water, bananas, and granola bars to the participants. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers. Additionally, all participants receive a voucher for an ice cream cone at Whitmer's General Store.
The race coincides with the local Fall Festival held at the park. After completing the course, attendees can access food trucks, baseball games, and other festival activities throughout the remainder of the day. Parking is designated in a field behind the playground at Winesburg Park, with entry located at 7771 TR 671. T-shirts are provided to those who register at least two weeks before the event date, though sizes are not guaranteed for later registrations.
