The Goodale Park Marathon
The Goodale Park Marathon is the second annual running event held in Columbus, Ohio on April 18, 2026. The event base is at 711 Dennison Ave, with the start, finish, and aid station placed in front of the pickleball courts on Dennison Ave.
Events include:
- Marathon 30 laps
- Half Marathon 15 laps
- 1 Lap Best Time one lap approximately 0.9 miles
- Race Crew Volunteer
The 1 Lap Best Time option allows participants to run a single lap as quickly as possible and report the time to race volunteers. All reported lap times are displayed on a large board. Participants in the 1 Lap Best Time may repeat the lap multiple times while marathon participants remain on the course to improve their standing.
Merchandise is optional; payment will be collected through the email list provided, with Venmo as the preferred method. The event notes that the Marathon and Half Marathon do not have formal awards.
