The Glenside Fire Company - Stop, Drop & Run 5K
The event on October 11, 2026 is a fundraiser that benefits the all-volunteer Glenside Fire Company No. 1 in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Both the 5K and the 1.5 mile fun run/walk start and finish at the Glenside Fire Company firehouse at 210 W. Glenside Avenue, located across from the Glenside Train Station.
The 5K follows a two-loop course through the streets of Glenside with a few rolling hills. The 1.5 mile fun run/walk follows the same course but completes a single loop; that distance will be untimed.

Race participants will be provided with breakfast foods and water. Those age 21 and older may access a beer garden with a complimentary beer. Entertainment and additional amenities will be announced on the event Facebook page as race day approaches.
Entry fees are $30 if registered by September 25 to receive a long-sleeved race shirt; registrations after September 25, including race day, are $35 and shirts may be available depending on availability. Results will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Company. The largest team on race day will receive recognition and a reward.
