The Georgia Jewel : Dalton, Georgia, September 18–19, 2026
The Georgia Jewel is a multi-distance trail running event held on the Pinhoti near Dalton, Georgia. The event offers several race options over a weekend and runs primarily on single-track trail with notable ridgeline sections and a rock garden.

The course is reported as roughly 99% single-track with a short steep climb locally called "Mt. Baker." The 100 mile course starts at the Dalton Convention Center, travels to the Dry Creek Trail system and returns, creating a loop layout that provides repeated crew access for long stretches. The Dry Creek trails are described as fast and runnable through a pine forest and are maintained by SORBA.
Logistics include bus transport for 18, 35, and 50 mile competitors to their start areas and toilets at those starting locations. The finish area includes seating and food for finishers. The organizer states that refunds, deferrals, and bib transfers are not offered.
