Festival of the Feet : Lake Gillawarna, Georges Hall
The Festival of the Feet is a community running event hosted by Western Districts Joggers and Harriers at Lake Gillawarna within Mirambeena Regional Park in Georges Hall. The event offers four off‑road races that follow paved pathways and short grass sections around the Georges River and the parklands.

Entries include individual, team and family options. The 7 km race allows teams of up to six people with the fastest four counted. Children under five must be accompanied by an adult in the 3 km event. Prams are permitted only in the 3 km race and must start at the back of the field. Dogs cannot run on course but may remain on leash in the start precinct.
All finishers receive a medal and trophies are awarded for first, second and third male and female in each event. There are drink stations placed along the courses and a baggage area with tear off baggage tags on bibs. Online registration closes the day before the event and limited entries are available on race day. The event supports local charities and relies on volunteers for operations.
