The Gauntlet Mud Run - Greenville, OH
The Gauntlet Mud Run is a trail obstacle event held at Chenoweth Trails in Greenville, OH. The course combines natural terrain with military-inspired obstacles such as walls to climb, ropes to swing across, and muddy sections to crawl through. Event proceeds benefit the Light Foundation, a nonprofit that supports youth programs.
Competition includes recognition and awards for top finishers by age group and for team and school categories. The top two male and female finishers in each age group (13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69) will be recognized, and the overall top finisher receives a cash prize. Additional awards are given for Largest Team, Largest School, and Fastest Team. All registrants receive a drink token, a finisher's medal, and a t-shirt for registrations completed by July 15.

- 5k obstacle run with multiple wave starts every 15 minutes
- Kids Race for ages 5 to 12
Logistics note: participants choose a wave during registration and should arrive early for check-in and warm-up. Parking is free and located near registration. Bag check is available at registration and is free. Two water stations are on course, one midway and one at the finish. A Kids Zone with activities is provided by volunteers. Food and beer are available on site for purchase; alcohol requires valid photo ID for those 21 and over. Spectators are welcome in designated viewing areas. Safety rules include waiver acknowledgement, age and eligibility restrictions for the main course, and course-specific hazard guidance.
