Event overview
The Gauntlet Mud Run is a trail obstacle event held at Chenoweth Trails in Greenville, OH (440 Greenville Nashville Rd). The course uses natural terrain and military-inspired obstacles. Obstacles listed include walls to climb, ropes to swing across, and mud to crawl through. The event offers a separate Kids Race open to ages 5–12.

Awards, entry items, and beneficiaries
Top two male and female finishers will be recognized in each age group: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-69. The Top Overall Finisher receives a $100 cash prize. Additional awards are planned for Largest Team, Largest School, and Fastest Team. All registrants receive a drink token, a finisher's medal, and a t-shirt for registrations completed by July 15. Event proceeds benefit the Light Foundation.
Logistics and rules
Published entry fees include a listed price for the 5k and for the Kids Race, and team pricing for groups (examples: rates for 10+ and 50+ participants). Parking is close to registration and free. Two water stations are provided on course. A bag check is available at registration. Spectators are allowed in designated viewing areas only. Safety rules require completion of the Chenoweth Trails waiver, prohibit participants under 12 on the main course, and ban animals, strollers, bicycles, and recreational vehicles on the course.
