The 5th annual Catch the Wave 5K takes runners through Greenville City Park and along the bike path to Bish Park. It features a standard 5K and a special Student Athlete 5K for younger participants. The event concludes with awards for overall and age-group winners.

Event Details

The Catch the Wave 5K is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026. It is the 5th annual edition of the event. The race takes place at Greenville City Park in Greenville, Ohio.

Course Information

The start and finish line is on the track at the Jennings Track & Field Complex at Greenville High School. The 5K course winds through Greenville City Park and uses the bike path to Bish Park.

Registration and Pricing

Two events are offered:

5K
5k - Student Athlete, which is open to ages 19 and under.

Registration prices vary:

Adult with shirt: $25
Adult without shirt: $20
18 & Under with shirt: $20
18 & Under without shirt: $15
Greenville Student Athlete without shirt: $5

Awards

Awards recognize the Overall Male and Female winners. The top three male and female finishers in each of the following age divisions will also receive awards: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
