Event Information
This Earth Day 5k event takes place in Greenville, Ohio. The start and finish location is Shawnee Prairie Preserve. Both runners and walkers are welcome. Dogs are also permitted if kept on a leash no longer than six feet; participants are asked to bring waste bags.

Participants can take part in a 5k race.
Registration and Awards
The registration fee is $20. Those who register before March 31 receive a t-shirt made from 50% recycled plastic bottles. Registration after that date does not include the t-shirt.
Awards are given to the top two overall male and female finishers. The top two finishers in each age group also receive a medal. The age categories range from 9 and under to 80 and over.
Post Race and Organization
Post race refreshments include campfire s'mores and hot dogs. Participants receive goody bags made from recycled material. The event is organized by the Greenville High School Science Club and Environmental Club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
