The Fort 20
The Fort 20 is a looped trail event that starts and finishes within the walls of the 18th Century Landguard Fort on the Suffolk peninsula. The course covers 20 mile on mixed trail terrain and passes through two nature reserves, two river estuaries and the Port.
The route is fully marked and a GPX file is available. On course support includes three water and snack stations and a drop bag facility. Generous cut-offs apply. The event includes a quality long-sleeve T-shirt and a race medal.
The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics Rules. Participants must be 18 years of age or older on race day. Entries open 1 November 2025 and close 26 September 2026. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £40.00 and Unaffiliated £42.00. An option to purchase XCover is offered for possible refunds in certain circumstances.
