The Fort 20
The Fort 20 is scheduled for 11 October 2026 at Landguard Fort in Felixstowe, Suffolk. The event is a looped trail that starts and finishes within the walls of the 18th Century Landguard Fort.
The route is a 20 mile mixed trail that crosses two nature reserves, two river estuaries and the Port. The course is fully marked and a .gpx file is provided. There are three water and snack stations on route, a drop bag facility, and a 6 hour cut off.
Entries open 1 November 2025 and close 26 September 2026. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £40.00 and Unaffiliated £42.00. Participants receive a quality long sleeve T shirt and a race medal. The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules; participants must be 18 years of age or older on race day. The event offers an optional XCover insurance product which may allow a refund if a participant cannot attend for unforeseen reasons.
