The Fort 20
The Fort 20 is a looped trail race held on 11 October 2026 that starts and finishes within the walls of the 18th Century Landguard Fort in Felixstowe, Suffolk. The course runs on mixed trail terrain around the peninsula.
The route crosses two nature reserves, two river estuaries and the port area. The distance is 20 mile and the route is fully marked; a GPX file is also provided for navigation. The event uses a six hour cut off.
On-course provisions include three water and snack stations and a drop bag facility. Participants receive a quality long sleeve T shirt and a race medal. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and is held under UK Athletics rules. Participants must be 18 years of age or older on race day.
