The Fort 20
The Fort 20 is a looped trail event held on 11 October 2026 that starts and finishes within the walls of the 18th Century Landguard Fort in Felixstowe, Suffolk. The route runs on mixed trail terrain and crosses two nature reserves, two river estuaries and the Port.
The course distance is 20 mile. The route is fully marked and a .gpx file is available. The event provides three water and snack stations, a drop bag facility, a quality long sleeve T-shirt and a race medal. There is a six hour cut off.
The event is organised by Coastal Trail Runners, is licensed by the TRA and is held under UK Athletics rules. Minimum age to participate is 18 years on race day.
