The Flower of Suffolk 2026
The event starts and finishes at Walberswick Village Hall and offers two waymarked routes along the Suffolk coast and inland on heathland footpaths around Minsmere and Dunwich. The 2026 route will be slightly different from previous years because of works for Sizewell C.

Entry details include an age requirement of 18 or older on the event date. Entry fees are listed as LDWA member £12.00 and non member £22.00. Entries close on 27 September 2026 and refunds less an administration charge are possible up to 21 September 2026. Substitutions are not permitted.
The entry package includes hot drinks at the start, food and drinks at checkpoints, a meal at the finish and a certificate for finishers. Participants are expected to follow the provided route description and may use an optional GPX file; these files will be available at least a week before the event.
Car parking is available in a nearby pay-and-display public car park, currently charged at £5.00 per day; there is no street parking in Walberswick and car sharing is recommended. Dogs are allowed if on a lead, under control and with third party insurance, but they are not permitted inside checkpoint buildings.
Participants are advised to prepare for variable October weather and to carry minimum kit such as waterproof trousers and jacket, warm layer, suitable footwear, a map or downloaded route, a route description, an own mug and personal food or drink.
