Run for Wildlife - Africa Alive 5k

The Run for Wildlife is a 5 km running event held within the grounds of the Africa Alive zoo. The course follows a unique route through the park, offering views of coastal scenery and various animal species such as giraffes, lions, antelope, meerkats, lemurs, and African wild dogs. The event is organized to support conservation and animal welfare through the Zoological Society of East Anglia.

Participants receive full-day entry to the zoo on the day of the race and a finisher medal. The event features a Race Day Village atmosphere and a post-race water station. Hot food and drinks are available for purchase on site. Free parking is provided for all attendees, and a bag drop service is available for runners.

The event has a maximum capacity of 1000 participants. It is open to runners of various abilities with a minimum age requirement of 6 years old; however, participants under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult. For safety and animal welfare reasons, buggy runners and babies in slings are not permitted on the course.
