The Firefly Trail Run
The Firefly Trail Run is scheduled for April 17, 2027 at Wag Valley Farm, 315 Shoals Fall Rd, Hendersonville, NC. The event uses a roughly 3.2 mile single track loop located on private property, with about 413 feet of elevation gain per loop. The loop passes a waterfall, mountain creeks, and runs through a vintage event barn each lap.
The event offers a timed format where participants complete as many loops as they choose within the selected time window. A finishers gift is awarded to those who start and complete at least one loop. One main aid station is located in the barn and is staffed each lap. The course is professionally timed, well marked, and supported by a stocked aid station. Onsite grass parking is available and camping and onsite lodging can be arranged through Wag Valley Farm.
Amenities and on-course services include soft long sleeve shirts, custom wooden finishers medals, stocked aid station with hands on support, post race food and drinks, and a free speed cup from a sponsor. Outside alcohol is not permitted on site; the venue will sell beer. Meatball subs with a vegan option are provided for 6 hour and 12 hour entrants. The event is capped at 135 total participants.
