Overview
The Felixstowe Triathlon returns to the Suffolk coast, offering a variety of multi-sport disciplines based at the Felixstowe Leisure Centre. Recognized as a former winner of Triathlon England's Large Event of the Year award, this event features a range of distances and formats to accommodate different preferences, including sea-based swims, pool swims, and aquabike options.
Course Details
The swim sections vary by distance. The Standard and Sprint categories feature sea swims along the beach toward Felixstowe Pier, with the Standard swim beginning approximately 1500m south-west of the pier. The Super Sprint swim is held in the Leisure Centre pool, consisting of 12 lengths.
The cycling routes transition from the seafront through Felixstowe Docks and Trimley St Martin. The Standard bike course is 41 km and includes a loop through Kirton, Newbourne, and Brightwell before reaching Felixstowe Ferry. Both the Sprint and Super Sprint bike routes are 20.5 km long. The run courses take place primarily on the promenade; the Standard run is 10 km, the Sprint run is 5 km, and the Super Sprint run is 3 km.

Facilities and Support
