The Eugene “Geno” Goodrich Foundation Fighting Melanoma 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run/walk held on September 26, 2026 at Farmingdale High School in Farmingdale, NY. The event proceeds will benefit a memorial scholarship for a Farmingdale senior lacrosse player and the Melanoma Research Foundation.
Registrants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Participants who register at least three weeks before race day can have their name printed on their bib. There is an option to register as a volunteer, and volunteers receive a shirt. A donation-only option is also available. Registration fees include a processing fee and are non-refundable.
On-site services include post-race raffles, live results available online or by text and email, and free finish line photos. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers, plus the top male and top female in each age group: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
