The Eugene “Geno” Goodrich Foundation Fighting Melanoma 5K Run/Walk
The Eugene “Geno” Goodrich Foundation Fighting Melanoma 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for September 26, 2026 in Farmingdale, New York. The event is set at Farmingdale High School, 150 Lincoln Street, and is presented as a community 5K run and walk.
Participants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. A personalized bib is available for those who register three weeks in advance. Last-minute registrants are provided a bib number by text within about 90 seconds. Additional amenities listed include post race raffles, live and text or email results, and free finish line photos.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top male and female in each age group. Age groups include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Volunteer participants receive a shirt.
Registration options show a base registration amount with processing fees applied; listed totals vary by date category. Registration fees are non-refundable. Proceeds support the Eugene “Geno” Goodrich Scholarship for a Farmingdale senior lacrosse player and also benefit the Melanoma Research Foundation to support awareness and research.
