The Elkmont Holiday Hustle
The Elkmont Cross-Country and Track program hosts the second annual Elkmont "Holiday Hustle" 10K on November 21, 2026. The event raises funds for the Elkmont High School Cross-Country and Track program and supports local charities through a toy drive and a portion of race proceeds. Registrations open July 4 and close November 21, and registrations completed by November 1 include a race shirt. Group registration options are available for organizations entering more than five runners.
The course follows the Elkmont Rails-to-Trails. The route begins on Upper Fort Hampton at the intersection of High School Road and Upper Fort Hampton, continues north on Veto for 3.1 miles, goes west through the Mill Creek campground cut through to the Richard Martin Trail, then proceeds south on the Richard Martin Trail for 3.1 miles, and finishes on the trail at the stairs leading up to Warehouse Pizza. Parking is free at Warehouse Pizza, around downtown Elkmont, and at Elkmont High School.
On-site vendors include Traveling Toms Coffee, Warehouse Pizza offering breakfast pizza and other treats, and Restore Mobility providing stretching and injury prevention assistance. Awards are presented after the race; the top five runners in each male and female age group receive certificates, and the top three overall male and female finishers receive medals.
