Event overview
The Difference Dash is a 5K road race scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Athens, Alabama. The event begins at Athens Middle School, 100 U.S. Hwy 31 N., Athens, AL 35611. Entry fee is $25. Organizer and purpose
The race is organized by the ALH Ambassadors, a group of high school juniors and seniors from Athens City, Limestone County, Lauderdale County High School, Lexington High School and area private schools who participate in a workforce development program at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Proceeds will fund the ALH Ambassador Scholarship program administered by the Athens-Limestone Hospital Foundation. Scholarships will be awarded to multiple senior Ambassadors who plan to pursue careers in healthcare. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
