Event overview
The Duergar Nightcrawler is a 10 mile night trail run held on Saturday 7 February 2026 in the Simonside Hills area near Rothbury, Northumberland. The event base is Newcastle House, Front Street, Rothbury, NE65 7UT. The route runs on trails in the Simonside Hills and takes place after dark. Participants are required to carry a headtorch. All entrants receive an event buff and the event includes one free cup of mulled wine.
Entries and requirements
Entries open 11 February 2025 and close 1 February 2026. The event has an entry limit of 400 and a minimum age of 18 on the event date. Entry fees (plus a booking fee) are listed as: UKA members £35 (rising to £45 from 01/01/2026) and non-members £37 (rising to £47 from 01/01/2026). The organiser offers an option to purchase XCover for possible refund if unable to attend.
