The Downville Mile - Greenville, SC
The Downville Mile is a one-mile road race held in Greenville, South Carolina. The course runs from a start near 65 Whitlee Court and finishes at the Confluence Center at 575 Mauldin Rd #200, and features more than 100 feet of downhill elevation over the mile.
Races are organized into separate waves by target pace: an open wave for runners 7:00 minutes per mile and slower, an open wave for 5:30 to 7:00 minutes per mile, and an elite wave for faster runners under 5:30 minutes per mile. Chip timing with live results is provided and all finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers plus age group awards.
Event inclusions listed by the organizer include a custom race bib, event-themed giveaways, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, post-race music, and a brewery finish where Haulin Hops will serve beer to finishers. Packet pickup is at the Confluence Center at 575 Mauldin Rd #200 during the stated pickup window. Parking is located at the Confluence Center at the finish line; participants are asked to travel to the start line as their warm-up and all vehicles must be off the course by the posted time.
