The Downville Mile
The Downville Mile is a one-mile road race held in Greenville, South Carolina on May 29, 2027. The course runs from a start near 65 Whitlee Court to a finish at the Confluence Center, 575 Mauldin Rd #200, and features roughly 100 feet of downhill elevation.
The event is organized as three race categories based on pace: an open wave for 7:00 and slower per mile, an open wave for 5:30 to 7:00 per mile, and an elite wave for 5:30 per mile and faster. Finishers receive medals and the event includes top three overall awards plus age group awards.
Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes January 5, 2027; the listed registration fee is $19. The first 100 participants will receive custom race socks. New swag, apparel, and medals are planned for 2027, and organizers note potential updates to course, location, and time.
Packet pickup is scheduled at the Confluence Center on race day. Parking will be at the Confluence Center, which is located at the race finish, and participants should plan to walk or run from the finish area to the start. A course map and additional event details are provided by the organizer. Haulin Hops will be on site serving beverages after the race.
