About the race

The Double Duathlon is scheduled for Saturday, February 6, 2027 at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. The event is a multisport race made up of three runs and two road-bike legs in alternating order.

Distances for the race:

  • Run 1: 2 miles
  • Bike 1: 5 miles (road)
  • Run 2: 2 miles
  • Bike 2: 5 miles (road)
  • Run 3: 2 miles

Each registered athlete receives a custom TBF running hat. Race shirts are available for purchase prior to the event for $20. Division structure for individuals is by 10-year age groups starting with 19 and under and ending with 70 plus, separated for males and females. Relay team divisions are Male, Female, and Coed. Awards are presented first through third in each age group for the Double Duathlon, and an overall first place award is given for each relay division.

Packet pickup is available on race morning at the race site. Entry fees vary by registration date and category: individual entries are $70 early, $80 after 11/1, and $90 on race day; two-person relay entries are $100 early, $110 after 11/1, and $120 on race day. TBF Racing has a no refund policy; refunds requested before race week are issued as race credit minus a $25 processing fee. Transfers between TBF events are allowed within one year for a $25 fee.
