Event overview
The Dizzy GOAT is a timed trail running event at Chalco Hills Recreation Area in Omaha, NE, held on Saturday, Jun 27, 2026. The event uses a loop of about 3 miles and takes place from a start/finish area near 8901 S 154th St. Entry is limited to 250 total runners. The event offers aid on course, including one fully stocked aid station at the start/finish and an additional "Motivation Station" mid loop. Runners receive a race T-shirt and a medal if they meet the distance standards; the first 250 registrants are guaranteed event swag.
Format and rules
Runners choose a timed option and try to cover as much distance as they can in the time selected. Options are:
- 12 hours
- 6 hours
- 3 hours
Medal standards are: 3 hours or 9 miles (3 loops), 6 hours or 21 miles (7 loops), and 12 hours or 39 miles (13 loops). The participant limit is 250 across all race options. Runners must remain at the park during their race unless they decide to stop; leaving the park ends that runner's race. If a runner takes a break during the event, they must notify the timer when they stop and when they resume. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
