The Divide 200
The Divide 200 is Western Canada's only 200-mile ultramarathon, held in the Castle-Crowsnest region of Alberta's southern Rocky Mountains. Covering 322 km with an elevation gain and loss of approximately 12,335 meters, the race follows varied trail types and some off-trail sections along the scenic Great Divide Trail. Designed for experienced racers with alpine skills, the course features challenging terrain and requires basic route finding.
Checkpoints are spaced 20 to 40 km apart, with staffed aid stations offering food and water. The event is capped at 100 solo entrants and offers significant cash prizes for top finishers. Support crews and pacers are allowed on select sections. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
