Castle Alpine Trail Race
The event takes place on September 19, 2026 at Castle Mountain Resort, Pincher Creek No. 9, Alberta, Canada. It is a trail race that traverses two mountain summits and an alpine valley.
The course combines wide open vistas, rugged single track, off-trail sections and substantial climbing. Each stage starts and finishes at Castle Mountain Resort, allowing runners to leave gear in the staging area for quick transitions. The three relay legs follow set directions: Leg 1 clockwise, Leg 2 counterclockwise, Leg 3 clockwise.

September weather can be variable with a chance of snow, strong cold winds at the summit, or warm conditions, so runners are advised to carry appropriate gear. After the race, the mountain plans live music and additional activities during the site shutdown.
