The Dash - Leederville
The Dash is a four-person mixed street relay held on Oxford Street in Leederville, Perth on Sunday 15 November 2026. Each team comprises two women and two men. The race takes place on a 500 metre closed street loop with a changeover at the end of every leg.
Each team completes eight legs in total, with every runner running twice, for a team distance of 4 km (8 × 500 m). Teams declare a running order before their heat and may change the order between rounds. One substitution per team is allowed on race day, provided the composition remains two women and two men.
The event runs through heats, semi finals and a final on the same afternoon; heats reduce the field, semi finals determine the top teams, and the final decides the overall winner. The course is described as flat, sealed and run on a closed street loop; a full course layout is noted as coming soon. Priority entry and a team registration process are mentioned for teams that wish to secure a slot. Selected teams and running orders will be published after entries close.
