The Darkest Night 4K
The Darkest Night 4K takes place on Friday, October 2, 2026 at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids. The event is a luminary-lit run and walk presented as a family-friendly evening with activities for all ages.
The evening includes games and activities such as face painting, decorating a luminary, and a glow station. There will also be drawings and awards for categories that include largest team and top fundraisers.
The event aims to raise awareness of the situation faced by youth who experience homelessness at night, including staying in shelters, sleeping on the streets or in cars, and couch-hopping. Funds raised support HOPE 4 Youth programs that meet basic needs and provide resources and skills to help young people find and keep stable housing.
