The Cut Ultra is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026. Entries open on June 1, 2026. The event uses an elimination format with repeated laps and periodic cuts rather than a fixed-distance race for all competitors. Race categories and format

The event includes separate categories for junior, male and female competitors. The Junior Cut uses 500 m laps; cuts begin at 2 km and the junior race has a maximum distance of 5 km. The women’s field will be monitored and an amnesty applied once 20 women remain. Separate cuts for men and women will commence from Lap 23 (after the second break), and a second bike will be deployed to monitor the women’s field.
