The Crowley Road Race
The Crowley Road Race is a multi-event running weekend in Vermont scheduled for Sunday, June 13, 2027. The 49th annual Crowley Brothers Memorial event uses certified point-to-point championship courses running from Proctor to Rutland, Vermont. The program includes championship races and community events across multiple distances.
Events offered include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K Run (6.2 miles)
- 10K Relay (all divisions)
- 5K Run (regional championships)
- 5K Walk
- Corporate Challenge Walk
- Kids' Downtown Mile
The Half Marathon, 10K and 5K courses carry course certifications: Half Marathon VT1100RF, 10K VT1201JK, and 5K VT1200JK. The 10K is designated as the Vermont State Championship for the event year.
The Kids' Downtown Mile is in its 26th year and has grown from about 50 participants to over 650. Children from Rutland County schools join young runners and walkers from Canada and multiple U.S. states. The youth run is presented to promote healthy hearts and youth fitness and is part of the Kids Run the Nation program of the RRCA.
