Event details
The Compass Pointe 5K is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Leland, NC. The event is the 2nd Annual "Race Against Hunger" and benefits Brunswick Family Assistance. The community event features a 5K Walk/Run. Registration includes an official 2025 race T-shirt, a finisher medal for all participants, and official bib timing. The entry fee is $40 and the price increases after October 30, 2025. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed through October 2. The event lists available spots (57 at the time shown).
Schedule and logistics
The race starts and finishes at Compass Pointe Grand Lanai, 2300 E Oak Bridge Way NE, Leland, NC 28451. Packet pick up is available the day before at the Compass Pointe Wellness Center community room and there is a last-chance packet pick up on race morning at the venue. A post-race festival will follow, featuring food prepared by the Compass Pointe Culinary Club and live music by the band Fire; food will be available for purchase. The event includes a friendly neighborhood and club competition, an awards presentation and a presentation to Brunswick Family Assistance after the race.
