The Combe Crawler

The Combe Crawler is an annual cross country race organised by Ilfracombe Running Club that follows coastal paths and countryside around North Devon. The course covers 13.6 km / 8.5 miles and includes hilly and steep sections along the coast and through rural terrain. A route map is published for the course.

The event is usually held on the last Sunday of November each year. The 11th edition is scheduled for Sunday 22nd November 2026 at Ilfracombe Football Club. Entrants must be at least 16 years old and the field is limited to a maximum of 200 participants. Results for past editions are published by the organiser.
