The Combe Crawler : Ilfracombe Running Club
The Combe Crawler is a multi-terrain cross-country race on Sunday 23 November 2025 in Ilfracombe. The course covers 13.6 km / 8.5 miles of steep coastal paths, woodland tracks, fields and hilly sections. The 2025 edition is the tenth running of the event and will use the traditional route in reverse. The event will raise funds for South West Blood Bikes and North Devon Hospice.
Event details and entry
The race starts and finishes at Ilfracombe Football Club (EX34 8AB). Entrants must be at least 17 years old and the field is limited to 200 participants. The event holds Trail Running Association permit No: 7401. The course will be fully marshaled and medical cover will be provided by Apex Medical. Race numbers are to be collected from Race HQ on the day. Entries open 1 August 2025 and close 21 November 2025; entry fees listed for attached and unattached competitors.
