The Color Run | Portland 2026
The Color Run at Portland International Raceway on October 10, 2026, is a non-competitive 5K event focused on a communal color experience rather than racing. Participants pass through multiple color zones along the course where food grade colored powder is used to add color at intervals. The event concludes with a Finish Festival that includes music, color throws, and an after race party.
Packet pickup is required; a photo ID is needed to collect a race packet. There is a $5 fee to pick up a packet on race day. Packet pickup is allowed for other registrants if the online waiver has been completed and the registrant’s confirmation is presented. Pre-ordered merchandise must be claimed at packet pickup or on race day; unclaimed items will be forfeited.
Race organization details include wave starts released every 2 to 5 minutes, a requirement to wear and display the race bib on the front of the shirt to be allowed on course, and no bag check facilities. Parking is available for a fee of up to $20 cash. Water stations are provided on the course and at the finish line. Spectator viewing is free with open viewing areas on both sides of the start and finish. Refunds are not offered; registrations may be transferred or handled by contacting the event organizer.
