The Clover 5K at Franklin County Fairgrounds
The Clover 5K takes place on April 11, 2026 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard, Ohio. The event is organized by the Franklin County 4-H council and supports the 4H Walk & Serve and more than ten local nonprofit organizations.
The main event is a 5K run/walk that starts and finishes on the fairgrounds track. The course is described as flat and includes a mix of surfaces within the fairgrounds property: the horse track, paved roads, a multiuse trail, and a section of packed crushed gravel.
Entry benefits and extras are included or available as add ons. The standard entry fee includes a goodie bag for the first 100 participants, a hand stamped wooden laser carved commemorative medal called a Woodal, and a breakfast ticket valid for a made to order omelet, fresh fruit, and bottled water. Event shirts are an optional purchase through March 25, 2026 for $12 plus processing fee and tax; registrations after that date will not include a shirt. The posted registration price is $20 with a scheduled price increase after April 10, 2026.
Logistics note: race packets and event shirts will not be mailed; packet pickup is handled at the fairgrounds Edwards Building. Free parking is available at the fairgrounds. After the run/walk, a Walk and Serve activity takes place in the Ganyard and Edwards Buildings, with hands on projects that benefit a range of local organizations. The event also partners with Go Green Hilliard for an Earth Day recycling presence at the fairgrounds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
