Clayton Shorthouse Memorial Triathlon
The Clayton Shorthouse Memorial Triathlon is held at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre in Wales. The event includes multiple race formats and a Junior Aquathlon for children aged 8 to 14 years.
Race options include:
- Relay Event: 400m Swim, 10km Cycle & 2.5km Run (£30 per person)
- Super Sprint: 400m Swim, 10km Cycle & 2.5km Run (£15 per person)
- TriStar 1: 150m Swim & 1.5km Run (£10 per person)
- TriStar 2: 200m Swim & 2km Run (£10 per person)
- TriStar 3: 300m Swim & 3km Run (£10 per person)
- TriStar Start: 50m Swim & 600m Run (£10 per person)
The course is supported by numerous volunteers to assist participants and help the event run smoothly. The event is held in memory of Clayton Shorthouse. All proceeds will go to North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation & Aftercare Charity. Entries and formal race details are managed through British Triathlon.
