The Christmas Eve 5k
The Christmas Eve 5k takes place on December 24, 2026 in Pittsburgh on W. General Robinson Street at the North Shore by Acrisure Stadium. The event offers in-person and virtual options and a free entry category for children aged 4 and under. Strollers and walkers are permitted; dogs are not allowed on the course.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a long sleeve race shirt. Virtual race packets are mailed and are not available at in-person packet pickup. Participants registered by December are guaranteed a custom bib with their name. There will be hot drinks and cookies at the finish area and free professional photography.
Packet pickup is available early at Public Lands (1000 Cranberry Square Dr Ste D, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066) from December 19 through December 23. Limited race day packet pickup is available near the start/finish area on the North Shore. Portable restrooms will be located between the start and finish on Mazeroski Way. A water station is provided at the one mile mark.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in multiple age groups; only in-person participants are eligible for awards.
