The Christmas Eve 5k
The Christmas Eve 5k is scheduled for 12/24/2026 at the North Shore by PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA (W. General Robinson St., 15212). The event offers both in-person and virtual 5K options and a free entry category for children age 4 and under. Registration opens July 25, 2026; in-person and virtual entries carry a $25 fee while the 4 and under category is free.
All participants receive a Christmas themed finisher medal and a long sleeve race shirt. To be guaranteed a shirt in the selected size, participants must register by 11:59pm on December 8, 2026. Customized Christmas themed bibs with a name require registration by 11:59pm on December 1, 2026.
Post race refreshments will include hot chocolate and cookies. Runners and walkers are permitted and strollers are allowed. Early packet pickup will be announced; limited race day packet pickup will be available at the start and finish area. Virtual race packets will be mailed and are not available at in person packet pickup.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and Over. Only in-person participants are eligible for awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
