The Christmas Eve 5k
The Christmas Eve 5k is scheduled for December 24, 2026 in Pittsburgh on the North Shore near Acrisure Stadium, with the start on W. General Robinson Street and the finish one block away on North Shore Drive. The event offers in person and virtual participation and a free registration option for children ages 4 and under; the free child registration does not include a race shirt.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Race shirts are provided to registered participants who meet the t-shirt deadline. Virtual race packets will be mailed and are not available at in person packet pickup. Strollers are permitted. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Support and services listed for the event include a water stop at the one mile mark, portable restrooms between the start and finish on Mazeroski Way, and free professional photography. Santa will be present during the event. Parking is available at Gold Lots 1 and 2 for a fee; other North Shore lots are listed as additional options.
Early packet pickup is available December 19 through December 23 at Public Lands, 1000 Cranberry Square Dr Ste D, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. There is limited packet pickup on race day near the start and finish. Award medals will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group: 10 and under, 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
