About the race
The Chili Run takes place on 01/24/2027 in Pitman, New Jersey, at Carolina Blue Smokehouse & Taproom, 692 Lambs Road, 08071. The event is in its 15th season and features a 2 Miles run.
The event uses chip timing with instant results and presents awards for top finishers. Awards include Top 3 male and female overall and age group awards for 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29 and continuing by ten year increments. Team awards are based on the top four finishers per team, with a minimum of one female required on scoring teams. Entrants may participate as individuals or as part of a team.
All registered participants receive a cup of chili with a vegetarian option available, a choice of a custom Chili Run beanie or a chili bowl, and a domestic beer for participants age 21 plus. Walkers must be registered and start behind runners for safety. The event lists HEADstrong Foundation as its charity partner.
Registration is open from 07/31/2026 through 10/31/2026 with a registration fee of $40. After the competitive portion there is an after party with a DJ and food and bar options at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
