The Challenge: Walk/Run for Clean Water
The event is a 24-hour walk and run at North Bossier Park in Bossier City, Louisiana, held across November 28 to November 29, 2026. Participants may complete as many laps as they choose on a 1.35 mile paved loop. The format includes solo and team relay options plus a virtual challenge, and total mileage is recorded with live results available during the event.
A staffed aid station will provide water, sports drink, and snacks throughout the event; additional food is offered during designated times. Participants may leave the course to rest and return before the event ends, and overnight camping on site is possible. Awards will be presented for top mileage accomplishments, with additional award categories to be announced.
Proceeds support clean water projects in Honduras through the Honduras Well Projects ministry. The event lists practical recommendations for attendees, including a refillable water bottle, headlamp for overnight participation, weather-appropriate clothing, and camping gear if staying overnight. Participants are also encouraged to bring items to reduce waste at the aid station and to support comfort on site, such as a pop-up canopy, chairs, and a cooler.
