The Chick-Fil-A & Big Peach Running Co. - Cartersville event is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Georgia Quick Start - Cartersville Campus (the "Old" Cartersville Primary School), 315 Etowah Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120. The event includes two road races and benefits Advocates for Children.

Organizers describe both courses as designed to be fast. The half-marathon has a 2.5 hour road-control time limit. The 5K is the 21st annual running of the Pinwheel Pursuit 5K (formerly the Duck Dash); the half-marathon is in its 5th year. Custom-designed medals are provided to all half-marathon finishers.
Logistics, entries and awards
Pre-registration packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, May 15 at Big Peach Running Co., 402 E. Church St., Suite 107, Cartersville. Recommended parking locations are the Crosspoint City Church lot at 325 Old Mill Rd. and the Cartersville Elementary School lot at 340 Old Mill Rd.; entrants must use the Old Mill Road entrance for those lots. Race-day parking across Old Mill Rd. requires crossing at locations directed by local police for safety.
Registration pricing (subject to change): half-marathon early rate $75, later pre-race $95, race-day $115; 5K pre-race $35, later pre-race $40, race-day $45. Awards: half-marathon overall top 3 female/male and top 3 masters female/male; 5K overall top 3 female/male, masters, and age-group medals for top 3 in each listed age category.
