The Cartersville Half-Marathon
The event takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 315 Etowah Drive in Cartersville, Georgia. It features two separate races:
- The Cartersville Half-Marathon (21.1 km)
- The Pinwheel Pursuit 5K (5 km)
This is the 5th annual half-marathon and the 21st annual 5K. The half-marathon begins at 7:00 AM, and the 5K starts at 7:10 AM. The races are presented by Chick-fil-A and Big Peach Running Co. Proceeds benefit Advocates for Children.
All finishers of the half-marathon receive a custom-designed medal. Awards are given for the top three overall and top three masters finishers in each race. The 5K also awards medals to the top three finishers in various age groups.
Packet pick-up is available on Friday, May 15th, at Big Peach Running Co. in Cartersville. Parking is available at Crosspoint City Church and Cartersville Elementary School, with access from Old Mill Road. The event has a 2.5-hour time limit for the half-marathon and proceeds rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
