The Cartersville Half-Marathon

The Cartersville Half-Marathon and Pinwheel Pursuit 5K
The event takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Georgia Quick Start - Cartersville Campus, 315 Etowah Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120 (the former Cartersville Primary School). It pairs the 5th annual Cartersville Half Marathon with the 21st annual Pinwheel Pursuit 5K. Proceeds benefit Advocates for Children. The half marathon has a 2.5 hour time limit and roads will be controlled for that period. The event is held rain or shine.
Awards and participant services include custom-designed medals for all half marathon finishers, overall and masters awards for both races, and age-group medals for the 5K in multiple categories. Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, May 15 at Big Peach Running Co., 402 E. Church St., Suite 107, Cartersville, GA, with specific information sent to registrants before the event.

Registration windows and fees vary by date with tiered pricing for both races. Recommended parking is available across the street in the Crosspoint City Church lot at 325 Old Mill Rd. Alternate parking is available at Cartersville Elementary School, 340 Old Mill Rd. Both lots must be entered from the Old Mill Road entrance; other entrances will be closed.
