The Capable of More Challenge
The Capable of More Challenge is a four hour, team-based running event held at Coach McNelly Stadium at Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center in Limerick, PA. Teams of 2 to 10 people share a single track and run or walk as many laps as they choose; each lap is a quarter mile on the track. Up to three team members may be on the track at the same time, with rotations allowed throughout the event. Teams keep their own tally of completed laps on a poster board.
Event logistics include on-site stadium bathrooms, free parking with an overflow parking location nearby, and available water, electrolytes, and light snacks. Participants are encouraged to bring chairs, tents, blankets, sunscreen, and personal fuel if desired. Each hour of the four hour period features different challenges, themes, and moments intended to build connection among participants.
Registration for the event is free. The first 200 registrants will receive a lululemon run top. The event is team focused: a Team Captain registers first and shares the team name with teammates. Donations that exceed operating costs will be directed to Girls on the Run through the lululemon Gives program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
