The Bull Run - Midland
The Bull Run in Midland is an event held at Emerson Park, 1300 W. Main St., Midland, MI 48640. It includes an in-person chip-timed 5 km, a free 1 mile kids run, and a virtual 5 km option. All proceeds benefit ALS of Michigan.
Distances include:
- 5 km The Bull Run 5K Run/Walk, chip timed in person.
- 1 mile The Calf Mile, free for ages 10 and under, untimed.
- 5 km InvisaBULL 5K, virtual and can be completed anywhere.
The in-person 5 km course starts and finishes in Emerson Park and follows all three legs of the Tridge, with the start/finish on the ball diamond. Finishers receive a medal with a dog tag design that references the organizer's family military service. Performance shirts are available as an add-on through September 6 and a no shirt option costs $5 less. For the virtual event, ordered shirts and medals will be shipped by September 27, 2026.
Timing is provided by a professional timing group and results will be available during and after the event. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three in standard age groups through 80 plus. Registration opens May 1 and closes on dates specific to each event.
