Bay City St. Patrick's Day Races
The Bay City St. Patrick's Day Races take place March 14 and 15, 2026 in downtown Bay City, Michigan. This is the 53rd running of the event, presented by the Bay Area Runners Club with presenting sponsor Jolt Credit Union. Multiple race distances and formats are offered across the two days.
Event distances and formats:
- Leprechaun 1/4 mile
- Leprechaun 1/2 mile
- Leprechaun 1 Mile
- Irish Double
- 8K run
- 5K run
- 5K walk competitive
- 5K walk non-competitive
- 13 & Under 5K walk non-competitive (ages 1 to 13)
The Leprechaun races are limited to 600 participants. Packet pickup is available on March 14 at the BARC Fitness Expo at Bay City Central High School, 1624 Columbus Ave, Bay City, MI 48708, and on March 15 at the Bay Area Community Foundation Building, 1000 Adams St, Bay City, MI 48708.
