Bay City St. Patrick's Day Races
The Bay City St. Patrick's Day Races is the 53rd running and takes place March 14-15, 2026 in downtown Bay City, Michigan. The event is organized by the Bay Area Runners Club with presenting sponsor Jolt Credit Union. Packet pickup is scheduled on Saturday, March 14 at the BARC Fitness Expo at Bay City Central High School, 1624 Columbus Ave, Bay City, MI, and on Sunday, March 15 at the Bay Area Community Foundation Building, 1000 Adams St, Bay City, MI.
Events and distances
The race weekend includes multiple running and walking events with the following distances:
- Leprechaun 1/4 mile
- Leprechaun 1/2 mile
- Leprechaun 1 Mile
- 8K run
- 5K run
- 5K walk - competitive
- 5K walk - non-competitive
- (NEW) 13 & under 5K walk - non-competitive
- Irish Double
The Leprechaun races are limited to 600 participants. The new 13 & under 5K walk is open to ages 1 to 13. Entry fees listed for events include $8 for Leprechaun races, $30 for the 8K and most 5K events, $25 for the non-competitive 5K walk, and $12 for the 13 & under 5K walk.
