Event Overview
The Buckeye Triathlon & Multisport Festival is a multisport event held at Caesar Creek State Park Beach in Waynesville, Ohio.
Disciplines and Distances
The event features a wide variety of multisport and individual disciplines across several distance categories.
Multisport Events:
- Triathlons: Beginner (200m swim / 6.5-mile bike / 1.5-mile run), Sprint (750m swim / 14-mile bike / 5k run), Olympic (1500m swim / 26-mile bike / 10k run), and 1/3 Iron (2000m swim / 38-mile bike / 9.3-mile run).
- Duathlons (Run-Bike-Run): Beginner, Sprint, Olympic, and 1/3 Iron distances.
- Aquabikes (Swim-Bike): Sprint, Olympic, and 1/3 Iron distances.
- Aquathlons (Swim-Run): Sprint, Olympic, and 1/3 Iron distances.
Individual Events:
- Open Water Swims: Distances of 1500m, 3K, and 5K.
- Open Runs: Distances of 5K, 10K, and 15K (9.3 miles). These are open to all ages.
- There is also a specific High School Sprint Triathlon event.
Venue and Logistics
The event takes place at Caesar Creek State Park Beach. Packet pickup, start, and finish lines are at the beachfront north of the park office. Ample parking is available at the beachfront, with race festivities in the grass area near the water.
Participant Information
Registration includes an event t-shirt (available in men's, women's, and youth cuts if registered at least two weeks prior), a custom race bib, a finisher medal (guaranteed if registered at least two weeks prior), and a catered post-race meal.
