The Buckeye Triathlon & Multisport Festival
The Buckeye Triathlon & Multisport Festival is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Caesar Creek State Park Beach in Waynesville, Ohio. The event offers multiple multisport and single-discipline races held on the beachfront and nearby course areas. Packet pick-up and the start/finish areas are located near the park office at 8570 OH-73, with parking available at the northern beachfront lot.
The festival includes a wide range of event formats and distances:
- Triathlons: Beginner - 200m swim / 6.5ml bike / 1.5ml run
- Triathlons: Sprint - 750m swim / 14ml bike / 5k run
- Triathlons: Olympic - 1500m swim / 26ml bike / 10k run
- Triathlons: 1/3 Iron - 2000m swim / 38ml bike / 9.3ml run
- Duathlons, Aquabikes, Aquathlons with corresponding distances
- Open water swims: 1500m, 3k, 5k
- Open runs: 5k, 10k, 9.3 miles
- Youth and high school sprint triathlon categories
Participants registered for any event receive an event tee in men’s, women’s, or youth cuts, a custom race bib, and a finisher medal when registered at least two weeks before the race. The festival provides catered post-race food and drink for participants.
