The Buck Fifty relay
The Buck Fifty is a team relay held in Chillicothe, Ohio on April 16 and 17, 2027. The event uses miles of trail running that include hills, peaks and valleys, and it publishes a race guide and downloadable results. Registration closes on February 1 or when the 150 team sell-out is reached.
Race profits support teen drug prevention. The event supports eight local high school chapters of the Drug Free Clubs of America program, a voluntary program that averages over 50 percent enrollment in the area. Local chapters are known as M.A.D.E. Volunteers and community partners take part in race operations and community outreach related to the cause.
Information available for past editions includes downloadable overall and categorical results and a guidebook for participants. The event lists community and institutional partners and presents opportunities for local organizations to participate as volunteers and sponsors. The Buck Fifty describes itself as focused on supporting youth prevention efforts while staging a multi-team relay on natural trail terrain.
