A.W. Marion Trailfest : June 5, 2027, Circleville, OH
A.W. Marion Trailfest is a multi-format trail running event held at the A.W. Marion area near Hargus Lake in Circleville, Ohio. The event offers looped trail formats that run on nearly 100% single track around the lake with rolling hills and roughly 450 feet of elevation gain per loop. Creek crossings occur on parts of the course and may be wet depending on weather.
Distances offered include:
- 4.5 mile race
- Half Marathon
- Day 12 hour
- Night 12 hour
- 24 hour
- 24 hour relay
- Youth 4.5 mile (under 18)
There is one full aid station at the start/finish area stocked with water, soda, electrolytes, hot food and traditional snacks. Runners may set up a tent or table near the start/finish area with a 10x10 canopy maximum. Crew access is allowed only at the start/finish transition area; crew should not access runners at the campground.
Pacer rules require pacers to be registered and to wear a pacer bib, limit one pacer at a time, and require pacers to complete the full loop with their runner. Mandatory gear includes a minimum 16oz hydration for all runners; 12 hour and 24 hour entrants must also carry two headlamps or one with extra batteries, a foil emergency blanket, and a whistle.
