The Big Deal at Great Seal
The Big Deal at Great Seal is a multi-distance trail event held at Great Seal State Park in Chillicothe, Ohio. The event offers the following distances:
- 100 mile
- 100k
- 20 Miler
- Adult 5k
- 5k YOUTH
The primary course is a roughly 20 mile loop composed mostly of single-track trail with two road crossings. Each loop features about 3000 feet of elevation gain. For the 20 Miler, 100k, and 100 mile distances, the course climbs Sugarloaf on the first loop only; subsequent loops bypass that climb.
Organizers state a no-refund policy for registrations. Deferrals to future RunFluent LLC events are available for the amount equal to the registration fee if requested at least four weeks before the event. No registration changes are accepted after April 2, 2026. Registration closes Friday, May 1 at 11:59 PM ET.
Cutoff rules apply to the 100 mile distance: a total time limit of 36 hours, and runners must begin their final lap within 28 hours. There are no additional cutoffs for shorter distances. All decisions about allowing runners to continue on course are at the race director’s discretion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
