Event Overview
The Bridge of Storm Lake's Run For Our Future is an annual event held in Storm Lake, Iowa. The event supports summer youth programs. It takes place on June 20, 2026.
Distances
The event offers several in-person and virtual distance options:

Virtual options are also available for all these distances. Participants can run their virtual race anytime and anywhere, including on a treadmill, and upload their time, location, or photo.
Participant Information
Participants in the in-person event will receive a race bib, a t-shirt, and a handmade medal. Half marathon participants receive a long-sleeve t-shirt. For virtual participants, these items are available for pickup or can be shipped.
The event features a kids' fun run at the finish line area. The race will proceed in rain, with delays only for lightning.
Course and Logistics
The in-person races have different starting points and times. The half marathon starts at the Storm Lake Marina. The 5k and 10k start at separate locations near Lake Point Villa and Lakeside Marina. All races finish at the Storm Lake Marina.
A single shuttle will run from the Storm Lake Marina to the 5k and 10k starting lines. There are water and orange stations along the course for runners.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at The Bridge office, or on race morning at the Storm Lake Marina. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
