Event overview
The Brave 5km & 10km is a coastal running event in Exmouth, with race headquarters at Sideshore. The event returns to Exmouth after six years and uses a course that runs along the seafront, coastal paths, sandy beach, and marina. Routes are mixed terrain.

The 5km entry is open to entrants aged 11 and over on 01/03/2026. The 10km entry is open to entrants aged 15 and over on 01/03/2026. Awards include trophies for overall male and female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Race day includes number collection and baggage drop, and an optional litter pick with Plastic Free Exmouth.
Entries and charity
Entry options include a bespoke wooden medal or a no-medal entry at a reduced price. Published entry prices include £13 and £16 for the 5km no-medal and medal entries, and £21 and £24 for the 10km no-medal and medal entries. A charity entry for the Sideshore Project is listed at £10. A portion of every entry fee will be donated to the Sideshore Project. Ten charity places are available that require a minimum fundraising pledge of £100 for the Sideshore Project.
