The Blood Run in Lennox, SD
The Blood Run is a timed running event held on a 1.5 mile loop around an organic vegetable farm just south of Lennox, SD. The course follows a border around the farm fields and uses mainly well traveled dirt and some pasture. The route has little elevation change and the exact trail alignment can vary depending on summer rainfall.
The event offers multiple timed formats and on-course support. A single fully stocked aid station with flush toilets serves runners on each loop. Camping spots are available for runners and crews, and crews may support participants from campsites or vehicles while remaining on the farm property.
The race name references the farm called The Good Earth and a nearby state park known as The Good Earth at Blood Run. The event has been staged in prior years, including 2025.
