Frostbite Four
Frostbite Four is a midwinter road race in Beresford, South Dakota, held on February 13, 2027 at 301 W Maple St, Beresford, SD 57004. The event offers two measured running distances:
- 4 Miles
- 2 Miles
The event benefits the Beresford Athletic Booster Club and other causes in the Beresford community. Chip timing is used for results. Two marked courses are prepared; wind direction and weather conditions determine which course is used on race day.
Pre-registered participants receive A4 Dri fit long sleeve shirts, with hooded sweatshirts available for an additional $5. Registrations completed by February 4, 2027 are guaranteed a shirt or sweatshirt. Online registration closes February 12, 2027 and race day registration is available on site.
Packet pick up is at Beresford High School on race morning. Bathroom and shower facilities are available at the high school.
A free chili and chicken noodle soup feed is provided for participants at the Bridges at Beresford Golf Course Club House, with entertainment supported by a free will offering. Awards include gift cards donated by 605 Running Company for overall and age group finishers in the 4 mile race and ceramic Frostbite Four figurines for the overall winners in both the 2 mile and 4 mile races and for 4 mile age group winners.
