The Blazing Brick
The Blazing Brick is a fundraising series organized in Northern Colorado that supports international relief through IOCC and community causes in Mexico and Kenya. The program includes separate cycling and running events with organized routes and participant apparel.
Distances offered include:
- 100 miles Century Ride route
- 100 kilometers Metric Century / 100K route
- 5K community run
- Kids Fun Run and walk options
The Century Ride is presented with both a 100 mile route and a 100 kilometer option and includes a training plan for participants. Century registration is described as a tax-deductible donation with a custom ride jersey provided; an early registration fee is listed for signups before July 1st. The 5K, walk, and kids fun run take place at Loveland High School and finish near the LHS tennis courts. The 5K entry is described as a tax-deductible donation with a race t-shirt; an early registration fee is also noted.
Accessibility: the walk route includes the LHS track and allows participants who use wheelchairs.
