The Blazing Brick
The Blazing Brick is a set of cycling and running events held in Northern Colorado, listed for August 16 and August 22. The program includes multiple distance options and family-oriented activities.

Proceeds support International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) for emergency relief and development programs. Sponsorships are also intended to support two causes in Mexico and Kenya. The 5K route is a loop around Loveland High School and finishes near the LHS tennis courts with a finish line party.
Registration details vary by distance. Century and Metric Century registration is listed as a $200 tax-deductible donation, with an early bird rate of $175 before June 1, and includes a high-quality ride jersey. 5K registration is listed as a $35 tax-deductible donation, with an early bird rate of $25 before June 1, and includes a Blazing Brick t-shirt. Non-local participants may track rides or runs with the Strava app and submit reports before the stated deadlines to receive mailed apparel.
