Resolution Run - Fort Collins (December 31, 2026)
The Resolution Run is a neighborhood 5K held in Fort Collins with a start and finish at Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC), 1801 Riverside Ave. The course is a scenic, flat loop through the Parkwood neighborhood and is run on residential streets under a rules-of-the-road permit; participants must obey traffic laws and yield to traffic if encountered.
The event is held after sunset and organizers provide glow sticks; participants are encouraged to wear bright clothes and lights. Kids, strollers, dogs and walkers are welcome. Headphones and earbuds are not allowed for safety. There is no water on the course; hot cocoa and indoor restrooms are available at the start/finish area.
Registration is capped at 500 entrants. Entry fees include a gender-specific long-sleeve tech shirt (guaranteed for registrations by December 20), a finisher memento (a mug), glow sticks and treats. Special recognition is given to top finishers: top three male and female finishers in standard age groups, top three non-binary finishers, and the oldest and youngest finishers; there are also treats and awards for canine finishers. Deferrals and transfers are allowed without fee through December 30. Parking is available in the EPIC lot, with a secondary lot in Edora Park 400 yards north on Riverside Ave. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
