The Black Rock '5' Race

The Black Rock '5' Race is an annual running event based in Kinghorn, Fife. The race course runs out over the sand to the rocks in the Firth of Forth. The event has taken place since 1987 and is traditionally held on a suitable Friday in May or June.

The event attracts around 1,100 participants, including fun runners, charity runners, keep-fit runners and competitive athletes. The organiser publishes entry forms, past results, race photos and an annual event t-shirt on the official site. Sponsors and partners named for the event include Williams Bros Brewery, Scotia Bathrooms, The Harbour View, Scottish Athletics, Briggs Marine and Myrtle Coffee Services.
