Cramond Promenade 5k, 10k and Half Marathon : Edinburgh
This event offers three chip-timed distances along the Cramond Promenade in Edinburgh on 25 October 2026. The races are fully course measured and use chip timing, with the timing chip attached to the race number bib; the chip must be secured to an outer garment for correct operation.
Participants receive a finishers medal and a goody bag that includes sports nutrition snacks and offers for runners. The event provides hydration stations, kilometre markers, course marshals, instructor-led warm up and on-course music. Race day photos are made available after the event and are free to view.
Registration is handled through the event booking provider Let's Do This; entrants need an account with that provider to complete booking. Online entries typically close two days before the event unless it sells out. On-the-day entries are usually available and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis; typical cash prices on the day are £20 for the 5k and £25 for the 10k.
Age and event rules follow Scottish Athletics guidelines: 5k runners should be 11 or older, and 10k runners should be above 15. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Standard headphones are not allowed; bone-conduction headphones are permitted. Cut-off times are generally 1.5 hours for 5k and 10k events and 3 hours for half marathons.
